San Diego, the beautiful city on the west coast offers some great programs for getting into the certified nursing assistant field. There are quite a number of community colleges that surround San Diego and offer a completion course within a few weeks at a reasonable rate.

First however, you might want to look at the free available classes if you are short on money. These can be obtained by checking with local nursing homes, and other care facilities that allow for volunteer work.
